what size crochet hook do you recommend for the fair house tea cosy? thank you so much
Hi Pam, I can’t remember exactly, I made the fairy house tea cosy quite a few years ago. Because I made this to fit my own teapot the pattern is variable. It really depends on what yarn you use. Look for the recommended hook size for the yarn you are using. I tend to crochet quite tightly so I often use a hook that is slightly bigger than what is recommended. I often use an 8 ply yarn so a 3.5mm – 4mm crochet hook would suit this yarn.
